It might sound weird. But somehow it is faster. You should try it. And as I said it is also better for your wrist. I know a senior modeller at framestore who recommended it ;) So it is not like I’m making it up myself.
So you can’t do quality work with a pen? I’m not sure if I understand.
I normal set the lowest button on the pen to middlemouse, which is great.

Modeling with your pen.... Are you kidding me..???.I know people who got fired for that.
You might be faster but you never gonna do quality.

I would love to hear more about that. Which shortcuts have you binded to you macro buttons then? My only problem with the mouse is that it hurts my wrist when I work a whole day, and I feel like I can move the wacom faster.

I have a Intuos 4, but i think my mouse is better for modeling, it has 13 macro buttons. D. 2011-09-12
